TALLAHASSEE (CBSMiami/AP) — Florida's unemployment rate has dropped again and is now right in line with national rate.

New jobless numbers released Friday showed that the state's unemployment rate for November is 5.8 percent.

That's a drop of 0.2 percent from October.

Florida's drop was aided by the addition of nearly 42,000 jobs last month. Florida only trailed California in the number of jobs added in November.

Gov. Rick Scott announced the new job numbers during a visit to Viewpost, a financial services company that plans to add nearly 300 jobs to its offices in in Maitland.

Scott maintains his policies have helped propel the state's economy.
