Florida's Turnpike reopens in Broward after fatal crash early Monday morning
The northbound lanes of the Florida's Turnpike have been reopened in Broward County after a fatal crash occurred early Monday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the crash was reported in the Lauderhill area around 2 a.m.
Because of the crash, all northbound lanes north of Sunrise Boulevard were shut down for hours, and drivers were being told to exit the turnpike at that location.
The crash has since been cleared from the scene and the roadway was reopened.
