ORLANDO (CBSMiami/AP) — Major Florida leaders in various sectors are in Orlando for a very important summit that will discuss some of the biggest issues facing the state.

Friday's summit includes discussions on expanding health care access, improving education, managing water supplies, tourism, medical marijuana and more.

The event was organized by Justin Sayfie, a lawyer, lobbyist, and GOP fundraiser who runs a website that aggregates news about Florida politics and government.

Despite his Republican allegiance, Sayfie kicked off the event by telling people to take off their political hats and put on their Florida hats.

The invitation only event includes a bi-partisan mix of attendees and the goal is to come up with ideas to address Florida's major challenges.
