TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (CBSMiami/AP) —  Florida Governor Rick Scott along with cabinet members trimmed down sentences for two men already in prison.

Scott and the three elected officials who make up the clemency board voted Wednesday to reduce the sentence of Ryan Holle from life in prison to 25 years. Holle was sentenced to life for his role in the murder of the 18-year-old daughter of a drug dealer. Holle was not present during the killing, but lent his car to the people who killed Jessica Synder in 2003.

The governor and Cabinet also agreed to reduce the sentence of a former Manatee County high school football coach from 10 years to seven years in prison and one year of house arrest. Josh Hunter had been convicted of killing a friend and fellow football coach while driving drunk.
