Deadly Florida City double shooting captured on Facebook Live

A double shooting that left one man dead and another man injured in Florida City was captured on Facebook Live.

According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office, Florida City police responded to reports of the double shooting around 12:30 a.m.

The sheriff's office said that when officers arrived, they found two men suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue arrived and pronounced one of the men dead at the scene, and the other victim was taken to a local hospital in stable conditions.

A Facebook Live video obtained by CBS News Miami showed the shooting as it occurred.

In the video you can hear gunshots ring out, and moments later the victim calls 911 to say he had been shot and someone was dead.

First responders are then seen in the video rendering aid to the victims.

Family members told CBS News Miami that the man who was killed was a "funny guy," calling him a comedian.

Friends said he was always putting smiles on their faces.

"That's disturbing," the victim's cousin said. "That's very disturbing to me."

People in the area said the victim was always going live on Facebook.

"That's our neighborhood comedian," the person continued. "Everybody looked at his videos. Everybody laughed. Every time I saw him, I gave him a hug and told him I loved him. Because that's my cousin."

Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office Homicide detectives have now taken over the investigation.

No other information was released.
