Florida Burlesque Festival To Honor Bunny Yeager

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami/AP) — If you like pin-up style costumes, feather fans and theatrical music, then you're in for a treat.

The first international Florida Burlesque Festival is coming to the state next month.

Organizers say the festival is dedicated to the legendary pin-up model, photographer and long-time Florida resident Bunny Yeager, who died in May.

The Festival will be held Sept. 5 and 6 at the historic art-deco style Cinema Paradiso in Fort Lauderdale and organizers say it will capture the glamour and excitement of the Golden Age of burlesque.

Several of Burlesque Magazine's "Top 50" performers will be showcased, along with comedians and vaudeville acts.
