FIU Students To Join In Nationwide Climate Change Effort

ORLANDO (AP) — Florida International University students are joining more than 50 other campuses nationwide in an effort to raise awareness about climate change.

Students announced they will be partnering with Know Tomorrow, and will hold a day of action on Oct. 2.

The event will included service activities, a fair and speaker series.

At the speakers' event graduate students researching climate change and environmental issues will showcase their work alongside Climate Reality Project executives.

The daylong event will be held on both FIU's Modesto Madique and Biscayne Bay campuses.
