FIU Pranks Students With New Major In "305 Life"

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Faculty and staff had a little April Fool's fun at the students' expense as they announced a new major on Friday.

Dubbed "Miami Studies," the course promised to expose students to the 305 life, including calculating Miami time -- where "10 minutes actually means 45 minutes" -- to the art of speaking "Spanglish," the differences between a cafecito and a cortadito, and even several weeks of driving discussion on what a "blinker" is and how to use it.
