First Fall Cold Front Coming This Weekend

MIAMI (CBSMiami) --Tired of South Florida's steamed heat and relentless rain? You are in for a treat this weekend.

The unusually hot weather will last into the first part of the weekend with scattered storms expected before the first fall cold front brings some relief from the heat and humidity on Sunday.

Highs will once again be in the low to mid 90s, close to records for this time of year, with feels like temperatures from 100 to 105 both Friday and Saturday afternoon.

A cold front arrives Saturday night dropping temperatures about 10 degrees to highs in the mid 80s on Sunday with much lower humidity.

Overnight lows will drop to more seasonal readings in the low to mid 70s.
