Fight Led To Deadly Shooting Inside Miami-Dade Apartment

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – One man is dead and a second was injured after a shooting in a Fontainebleau apartment.

Miami-Dade police said three adults, two men and a woman, and an infant were in the apartment in the area of NW 10 St. and 87 Ave. when an argument broke out.

As the fight grew more heated, shots were fired.

"Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded on scene and pronounced one adult male victim deceased," said Detective Kristopher Welch.

The other man was taken to Kendall Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

Miami-Dade police told CBS4's Hank Tester that they are waiting to talk to the male taken to the hospital to get all sides of the story before releasing additional information.

Police said the woman and infant were not hurt.
