FHP trooper hospitalized after Miami crash

A Florida Highway Patrol officer was involved in a crash overnight at 5th Court and NW 79th Street in Miami.

Paramedics took the trooper to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

The crash remains under investigation with assistance from the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office.
