Feud Between Three Leads To Machete Attack

HIALEAH (CBSMiami) -- A feud between three people Wednesday evening led two men being rushed to the hospital with injuries from a machete.

Hialeah Police said it happened at a gas station located at 2890 Palm Avenue.

The three men knew each other and had an ongoing feud, according to authorities. A witness said the three men are related and were fighting about family issues.

One of the men injured his head while another man had a laceration on his back from a machete.

Although the attack was with a machete, neither of the wounds were life-threatening.

Both of the men were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital. They are in stable condition.

The third man is in police custody.

Detectives are interviewing witnesses.

No charges have been filed.
