FBI Searching For SunTrust & BB&T Bank Robbers

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The FBI is searching for a bank robber that stole money from the SunTrust Bank Friday afternoon and another subject that stole money from a BB&T.

According to officials, the robber entered the bank located at 1900 East Hallandale Beach Boulevard at approximately 2:30 p.m.

The robber was armed and customers were in the bank at the time, but no one was injured.

A second bank, the BB&T at 1451 NW 62 Street in Fort Lauderdale, was robbed approximately 5:30 p.m.

No customers were in the bank at the time and no one was injured in that robbery.
