FBI Arrests Two In Pembroke Pines Bank Job

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Two men who the FBI believe robbed a Pembroke Pines bank last fall are now in custody.

David Lockhart Jr. 21, and Dondrell Chandler, 19, both from Miramar, were arrested at the FBI's headquarters in North Miami. Miramar police, Pembroke Pines police and the South Florida Violent Crime Task Force were involved with the arrest.

Lockhart and Chandler are accused of robbing a TD Bank branch on Pines Boulevard on September 4th, 2013.

Witnesses told police the two robbers entered the bank and demanded money from a teller. Shots were fired. An undisclosed amount of money was taken.

Customers were in the bank at the time of the robbery. There were no injuries.

FBI agents said the duo escaped in an older model black Pontiac Firebird/Trans Am with chrome wheels, a spoiler on the rear hatch and dark tinted windows.
