MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A well-known night club is closing its doors after 11 years on South Beach.

Mansion Nightclub is closing in September, according to miami.com.

The original owners of the club bailed out less than a year ago and the new owners have some plans for the space.

Luis Puig of Club Space and Justin Levine are reportedly planning to reopen the space as 'Icon' or 'Paradise.'

The closing of the club comes after Cameo, Mansion's former sister club, reached a $5 million settlement with the family of a man who was allegedly beaten outside of the club by a bouncer.

Mansion will officially close its doors after Labor Day weekend.
