Ex-Boyfriend, New Boyfriend Confrontation Ends In Shooting

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Authorities are investigating a shooting in Little Havana that left one man in the hospital.

Miami Police said the ex- boyfriend of a woman who lives at a home located at 1053 SW 2nd Street tried to break in just after 7 a.m.

During his alleged attempt, the new boyfriend confronted him and shot him in the chest.

Rescue crews rushed the injured man to Jackson Memorial Hospital in serious condition.

No word on if any charges will be filed.
