Cris Carter's comments yesterday over the need for NFL players to "have a fall guy" made some eyes roll across the media.
"The verbiage out of Cris' mouth seemed scripted, like he wanted to say it, like it was planned," NFL Network's Heath Evans said on the Joe Rose Show, "which that's pretty stupid if you ask me.
"The truth is what he said is just I was flabbergasted. I was flabbergasted that the NFL didn't immediately hear that and reprimand him and basically remove him."
