TALLAHASSEE (CBSMiami/AP) — Nearly 80,000 Floridians are still without power following the effects of Hurricane Hermine.

The Florida Division of Emergency Management posted on Twitter Sunday that 79,457 utility customers have been left without electricity.

The county with the most number of outages is Leon, with 49,863 as of 10 a.m. Power lines in the city of Tallahassee in Leon county were especially hard-hit due to a thick tree canopy.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott will meet with Pasco County officials to talk about the aftermath and the potential for river flooding.

Emergency managers say the Anclote River is forecast to go well into major flood stage on Sunday afternoon and have issued mandatory evacuations for some low-lying mobile home parks and apartment buildings. Scott is scheduled to visit Sunday morning.

Pasco County, north of Tampa, experienced other incidents during the storm. More than 200 patients were transported from a hospital on Thursday after a lightning strike took out a generator.

And on Saturday, a 30-year old man working as a private utility contractor was shocked while he worked on a utility pole. He was taken to a hospital in Tampa and his condition is unknown.
