East Las Olas Bridge To Close Monday Night

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) -- The East Las Olas Boulevard Bridge is closing this week.

All of the lanes on the bridge will close starting Monday at  9: 00 p.m. and re-open at 6:00 a.m. The closure will happen nightly until Friday.

This will allow crews to paint the movable span of the bridge.

During the closure, all eastbound traffic will be detoured to Sunrise Boulevard via US 1.

All westbound traffic will be detoured to Sunrise Boulevard via A1A.

This work is part of the $5.8 million Las Olas Boulevard Bridge rehabilitation project.
