Early Morning Fire At Pembroke Park Warehouse

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - Firefighters battled an early morning warehouse fire in Pembroke Park.

The building is located at 2051 SW. 31 Avenue.

When firefighters arrived around 7 a.m., they saw heavy black smoke billowing out of one of the warehouse bay windows as well as several vents.

Fifty firefighters, including some from Hollywood, assisted in putting out the flames in about 20 minutes. They were able to contain it to one unit which had minor to moderate damage. Several other adjacent businesses had smoke damage.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
