8 Vehicles Involved In Crash Which Sent Dump Truck Careening Into SW Dade Insurance Building

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE (CBSMiami) – The driver of a dump truck wasn't a 'good neighbor' after losing control and slamming into a State Farm insurance office Friday morning.

It happened along Bird Road and 59th Avenue in Southwest Miami-Dade.

Video from Chopper 4 shows the back end of a big dump truck sticking out of a wall at the Carlos Luis State Farm Insurance Agency.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue says they transported two people to a local hospital.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a total of eight vehicles were involved.

The dump truck was originally traveling eastbound when the truck swerved left cutting across all westbound lanes before colliding into the building.

Only minor injuries were reported.

The building was evacuated and westbound Bird Road was shutdown at SW 59 Avenue.
