Driver Of Scott's Security Detail In Minor Wreck

NAPLES, Fla. (AP) —  One of the drivers who was part of Gov. Rick Scott's security detail  was involved in a fender bender this weekend while the governor was at dinner.

The driver was  trying to back into a parking spot in southwest Florida. The governor was not in the car at the time of the crash.

Florida Highway Patrol officials said 34-year-old driver Rebecca Petrulis was backing the Florida Department of Law Enforcement SUV across a street to park outside a Naples restaurant Saturday night. She failed to see a Jaguar driven by a 78-year-old man and the two collided. No one was injured. The governor was inside eating dinner at the time of the fender bender. Both vehicles had minor damage.
