MIAMI GARDENS (CBSMiami) – There was another drive-by in Miami Gardens, this one leaving a 63-year-old woman and 5-month-old baby injured.

"One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine bullet holes," counted off Henry Elam.

Georgia Lee's home at 1521 NW 175th Terrace was riddled with bullets.

"It was a drive-by. They got my house. See the bullet holes.  We don't do nothing to nobody," Lee said.

Little baby Naquan Gray was on the front porch with his father, also named Naquan, when the shots rang out.

According to Elam, Naquan's cousin, dad shielded his baby son.

"He had his baby like this. He go down trying to protect his baby son," Elam said.

Police said a 63-year-old woman, who was inside the home, was grazed in the neck and leg.

Investigators said the baby was not grazed, but received scratches from being covered by an adult.

The family has a different story about the little boy.

"He was grazed right here," Elam said, pointing to his shoulder. "There was a little blood, little blood, yes."

The father made a quick visit to the home before leaving. The great grandmother is still rattled by the close call.

"When I walked in the house I hear 'pow, pow, pow, pow,' you know," Lee said.

This night, a little boy will live for another day, too young to know how lucky he was.

"I am grateful, I thank God, I thank God," Elam said. "We are blessed. I give all the glory to God."

The suspect was seen driving a white Mercedes SUV away from the scene.
