MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 22-year old daughter of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, is still fighting for her life in an Atlanta hospital.

She was reportedly discovered in a bathtub by her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, and a friend. Gordon has been publicly fighting with her dad about seeing "Krissy."

As CBS4's Rhiannon Ally reports, Gordon sat down with Dr. Phil, who said it became clear he needs to get help himself.

Gordon's mother was by his side when he broke down to Dr. Phil. "Mom, I lost the most legendary singer here and I'm scared of losing Krissy," said Gordon.

Gordon was talking about the death of Whitney Houston in 2012. Gordon considered Houston a mother after she took him in when he was 12-years old. That's why his relationship with Bobbi Kristina, or "Krissy" as her family and friends call her, raised a lot of eyebrows when they went public after Houston's death.

Brown was found unresponsive in her bathtub at her Georgia home on January 31. She remains hospitalized, fighting for her life. Gordon's attorneys have said Bobbi Kristina Brown's father, Bobby Brown, has refused to let Gordon visit her in the hospital. But, a lawyer for Brown said Gordon was offered visitation if he agreed to certain conditions.

During the interview last week, Gordon was described as volatile by Dr. Phil. Gordon even admitted he wasn't sober while they were talking. Dr. Phil told him he obviously needed help.

"What I want you to do is to go to rehab," said Dr. Phil McGraw.

Dr. Phil said they didn't discuss what happened to Bobbi Kristina Brown, because it wouldn't have been appropriate given Gordon's condition. Gordon reportedly stormed out of the interview, but did reportedly go to rehab immediately following the taping.

The complete interview airs on CBS 4 Wednesday at 3pm.
