MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami Dolphins made another depth signing for the team's much maligned offensive line.

The Dolphins signed veteran guard Kraig Urbik and expect him to compete for a starting job.

Urbik was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He was waived by Pittsburgh in September of 2010 and was claimed by the Buffalo Bills two days later.

Urbik, 30, has played 57 games during his career, all with the Buffalo Bills.

He started 13 games each in 2011 and 2012, 16 games in 2013, nine games in 2014 and four games in 2015.

Urbik will be competing with Dallas Thomas, Billy Turner, Jamil Douglas and newcomer Jermon Bushrod for a starting spot on the Dolphins offensive line.
