DAVIE (CBSMiami) – Miami Dolphins undrafted rookie punter Matt Darr had quite a first season in the NFL.

He won the job during training camp, beating out former Pro Bowler Brandon Fields.

Darr would end up finishing third in the NFL among all punters with a 47.6 gross punting average.

He also set a Dolphins rookie record with that average, besting Fields' mark of 43.2 set in 2007.

On Tuesday it was announced that Darr was selected to the NFL All-Rookie Team.

Darr is the fifth Dolphins player in the last four years voted onto the team, joining Ja'Wuan James (2014), Jarvis Landry (2014), Caleb Sturgis (2013) and Don Jones (2013).
