DAVIE (CBSMiami) – The Miami Dolphins 2015 season is mercifully winding down, with just two home games remaining on the schedule.

Injuries have been a major burden on the Dolphins this season, and the hits just keep on coming.

The team announced on Tuesday that linebackers Koa Misi and Chris McCain have been placed on the reserve-injured list, ending their seasons.

The Dolphins acted quickly to replace the players, re-signing linebacker James-Michael Johnson and offensive lineman Jacques McClendon.

Miami also signed former Dolphins guard Shelley Smith.

Along with Misi and McCain, center Mike Pouncey (foot) and left tackle Branden Albert (knee) were also injured during Miami's loss to San Diego last weekend.  Their status for Sunday's game against the Colts is unknown.
