OMAHA (CBSMiami/AP) — Football players are thinking more and more about their lives after football.

NFL star Ndamukong Suh is joining the board of a Nebraska company that makes video projection equipment, lighting gear and audio systems.

Ballantyne Strong said Tuesday that Suh had agreed to join the company's board.

Suh hasn't waited until his playing days are over to launch his business career, and the Miami Dolphin has established a friendship with investor Warren Buffett.

Buffett praised Suh in a statement and said he looks forward to hearing about the former Nebraska Cornhusker's future successes in business.

Dolphins owner Stephen Ross says he supports Suh's new venture as a corporate board member.

The 29-year-old defensive tackle is expected to play a key role on the Dolphins' defense next season.
