Davie (CBSMiami) – Miami Dolphins' cornerback Cortland Finnegan has been troubled by a bum ankle for the last two weeks.

According to a report by the Sun Sentinel, Finnegan was unable to continue through practice on Thursday.

The cornerback didn't participate in practice or his rehab session on Friday.

Chances are he won't be playing Monday night against the New York Jets.

Jamar Taylor has started in place of Finnegan for the past two games, but he suffered a shoulder injury against the Broncos. He has now been ruled out of Monday's contest.

Safety Jimmy Wilson could make the transition to corner, which is where he started his career with the Dolphins.
