Dolphins Fan Daniel Tosh Wins Pats Bet For Sick Friend

Comedian and notable Dolphins fan Daniel Tosh hedged during last night's Patriots' domination over the Dolphins.

He took New England -3.5 in the first half and and came out a winner when the Pats went into the half with a 19-0 shutout.

Why bet $25,000 against his hometown team? It was to raise money for friend and fellow comedian Andy Richter, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

Tosh went into it knowing it was a win-win.

"If my Dolphins are winning, I'm happy. If they're losing, Andy gets some much needed help," Tosh said earlier this week on an episode of his Comedy Central show, Tosh.0. "So please Tom Brady. For once in your life, you and Bill use your shady, dishonest, cheating powers for good. In the first half only!"
