FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) -- At the Dolphins Cancer Challenge, kids can be cancer fighters, too!

The organization hosted the first of two Fall Family Fests at Holiday Park Sunday, raising money and awareness in the fight against cancer.

A kids bike ride was held for children ages 3-16 on road-supervised courses stretched up to 10 miles. The DCC posted photos of the day's events on their Twitter account.

The event featured family activities including a bounce house, animal exhibit and the Dolphins Youth Program.

For adults, food trucks and a beer garden complimented the opportunity to sit and watch the Dolphins-Bills game.

The DCC will host a second event next Sunday, November 15th at the University of Miami campus in Coral Gables.

Registration costs $15 for kids interested in participating.
