Dodd: 'I Feel Sorry For Al Golden'

"I feel sorry for Al," CBS Sports' Dennis Dodd said on the Joe Rose Show. "No matter what you think of where the program is right now, he's giving his heart and soul to that thing and what I tell people who aren't around there -- and my office is there and I was there over the summer to do a story -- it's such a pro environment. You're almost held to a different standard. Even the Canes who were really really good. It was almost like an NFL franchise, the way they ran it and the way the fans followed it. You've got pro influence all around you. It's very -- not because of University of Miami football but because of the environment -- it's very toxic there.

"There gonna have to do something. I don't know what. When people are spending $295 an hour to fly airplane banners versus spending that on the game, on a ticket... something's wrong."
