Disney Plans 18-Month Celebration To Mark 50th Anniversary

MIAMI (CBSMiami/CNN) - Walt Disney World plans on celebrating its 50th anniversary beginning on October 21st, five decades after it first opened its doors.

Disney is planning on putting up bright new decorations and big events at all four of their parks.

As you probably guessed, Mickey and Minnie will be at the center of the 18-month long celebration, which they are calling "The world's most magical celebration."
