Disney Makes Changes In FastPass+

LAKE BUENA VISTA (CBSMiami) - Visitors to the Walt Disney World parks in Orlando now have a little more freedom when it comes to scheduling ride times in advance using FastPass+.

On Monday a restriction that guests could only schedule three FastPass+ selections, all within one park, was lifted.

Now after guests have used their first three FastPass+ selections, they will be able to select another one at one of the kiosks located in each of our WDW parks, according to Thomas Smith, Social Media Director of Disney Parks.

"When they've used that one, they'll be able to select another, and so on, ultimately providing guests with even more ways to customize their Walt Disney World Vacation," wrote Smith on his Disney Parks blog.

Another big change - a park hopper feature. Guests are now able to make additional FastPass+ selections when they hop from park to park.

FastPass+ lets park goers make advanced reservations for rides, dining, attractions and even parade viewing areas.

Guests can make FastPass+ selections up to 30 days in advance of their visit. Those who stay at a Disney Resort hotel can make FastPass+ selections up to 60 days prior to check-in for the entire length of their stay.

The FastPass+ service is included in the price of the ticket, package or Annual Pass at no extra charge.
