MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton have won the Presidential Primary in the State of Florida.

With 99% of precincts reporting, Trump has 46% of the vote over Marco Rubio's 27%. That gives the state's 99 Republican delegates to Trump. The Florida GOP primary is considered a pivotal moment in the campaign: The winner-takes-all contest means a huge boost.

That's a significant lead over Miami's hometown candidate. Rubio is from West Miami where he had a strong showing. Rubio did claim victory in Miami-Dade County with 63% of the vote over Trump's 22%. But those numbers did not hold strong for the rest of the state. Trump also won in Broward and Monroe Counties.

On the Democratic side, Clinton is ahead with 64% of the vote over Bernie Sanders 33%.
