Denzel Perryman Drafted 48th by San Diego Chargers

Denzel Perryman is headed to the West Coast.

The boom of the Miami Hurricanes' defense for the last four years was snatched up by the San Diego Chargers with the 48th pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.

Perryman was a third-team All-American and Butkus Award finalist after his senior season at Miami, when he registered 110 tackles (9.5 for loss). He is the third Cane drafted thus far, after Ereck Flowers and Phillip Dorsett flew off the board in the first round.
