Dee Gordon Reacts After Emotional Night At Marlins Park

MIAMI  (CBSMiami) – Following the tragic death of Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez, the team took the field for the first time on Monday night against the New York Mets.

Both teams were very emotional throughout the night, from the pregame tributes to Fernandez to the players showing their respect for him after the game.

Marlins second baseman Dee Gordon led the game off for Miami by hitting his first home run of the season and couldn't hold back tears as he crossed home plate and headed back to the dugout.
