Decomposing Body Found In Palm Beach Gardens

PALM BEACH GARDENS (CBSMiami/AP) – A man walking his dog happened upon a badly decomposing body Saturday. Now authorities are looking for answers.

The medical examiner's office will remove the body as soon as detectives and crime scene investigators document the scene, according to a statement released by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

An autopsy will be performed to determine a cause of death and identity of the deceased.

Authorities said the body was discovered by a man walking his dog Saturday.

No further information has been released.
