Deadly Roll Over In Oakland Park

OAKLAND PARK (CBSMiami) - A Ft. Lauderdale woman died in a roll over crash Thursday morning on I-95.

Shalese Presnell, 42, was heading north on the highway around 4 a.m. in a Ford Expedition when she clipped a Honda Accord driven by 67-year old Jose Contreras just south of Oakland Park Boulevard.

Presnell lost control, according to the Florida Highway Patrol, veered right and left roadway. As the SUV rolled over, Presnell was thrown from the vehicle. The FHP said she was not wearing a seat belt.

Presnell was pronounced dead at the scene. Three lanes of the highway were closed for hours at the start of the busy morning rush. They re-opened at 8 a.m.
