Deadly Coral Gables Crash Under Investigation

CORAL GABLES (CBSMiami) -- Authorities are investigating a deadly crash in Coral Gables early Monday morning.
Coral Gables Police said just before 5 a.m., they along with Coral Gables Fire responded to a crash at the 1300 block of US1.
The driver of a Dodge Ram had been traveling southbound on US1 when somehow the vehicle veered off the roadway and hit a tree.
The driver died in the crash. Authorities have not released the man's identity.
The department's traffic homicide unit is trying to find out what caused the deadly crash.
