VERO BEACH, Fla. (CBSMiami) – Dash cam captured a chase and then a brutal fight between two Indian River County Sheriff's Office deputies and the man they were pursuing.

The chase started with a traffic infraction.

The driver of a Kia Soul blew through a red light at more than 100 mph in Indian River County, north of Palm Beach.

"He is all over the road," a deputy is heard saying.

Dash cam video, obtained by our sister station CBS12 West Palm Beach, showed the driver swerving all over the road before hopping on, and then off, I-95.

"Just crashed again, hit a wall," an officer says. "But looks like he's still going."

He kept going for another minute.

An arrest affidavit says the driver was speeding at 119 mph at one point before finally pulling over.

"He stopped, stop the radio," a deputy says. "Hands up! Hands up! Hands up! Step out of the car."

He gets out of the car, and starts moving toward deputies.

The man then starts making erratic gestures as he nears the deputies.

A deputy then punched the man before another used his stun gun multiple times.

The suspect finally gave up after quite a long fight.

"You tried to get shot. I'll give it to you. You tried. It was a good run though wasn't it," a deputy is heard telling the suspect.

The suspect was identified as Robert William Rogers III. Authorities said he had a blood alcohol content of .106, above the legal limit.
