Dade Officer Arrested Over Alleged Road Rage Incident

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A Miami-Dade police officer is under arrest over an alleged road rage incident.

Jonathan Lang, 42, turned himself in on Tuesday on charges of firearm discharged from a vehicle, aggravated assault with a firearm, and tampering with physical evidence.

His bond is set at $17, 500.

Lang allegedly got into a road rage incident with  corrections officer Georgina Illa back in 2014 at Florida Turnpike near Caribbean Boulevard. . Illa said Lang shot into her car.

The alleged victim managed to alert a Miami-Dade police officer, who stopped Lang.

Investigators searched the officer's car and found ammunition but no gun.

Illa filed a lawsuit against Lang over the alleged incident.
