Crowder: 'I'm Taking Tannehill' Over Roethlisberger

Is Ryan Tannehill on the cusp of stardom? It's been a polarizing topic during the lulls of the 2015 NFL offseason. One former Dolphins player would take Miami's franchise QB over a proven, Super Bowl-winning talent like Ben Roethlisberger.

"You ask me, big picture, Roethlisberger or Tannehill? I'm taking Tannehill," Channing Crowder said on Hochman, Crowder, and Krantz. "Big picture? Yes. Tannehill will be the Roethlisberger, the Cam Newton type. He won't be the best quarterback in the league but he will be locked in the Top 10 for the next 10 years.

"I don't think Ryan Tannehill is going to peak this year and I'm saying he has a chance of making the Pro Bowl. He's going to get better after this Pro Bowl year. He was a receiver five years ago. Now he's a top half -- if you don't wanna say Top 10, let's say top half, whatever number you want me to give him, Top 12 -- quarterback in the NFL after playing quarterback for five years at the highest level of football. This man has a ceiling I don't know if anyone understands."

Check in around the 52:40 mark to get Crowder's full take.
