Craigslist Meeting Ends In Armed Robbery
MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A man trying to sell his iPhone on Craigslist met up with a person he believed wanted to buy the phone only to find out it was a hold up.
Broward Sheriff's Deputies arrested Manuel Frometa, 22, on Wednesday on a charge of armed robbery.
The victim was trying to sell his phone for $300 via a Craigslist ad.
Frometa allegedly met with the victim for a purchase meeting.
The victim noticed that the money Frometa allegedly gave him was fake.
Frometa then took off with the phone and when the victim ran after him, Frometa allegedly showed the victim a gun.
He has no bond set at this time.
