COVID In Florida: 7,280 Additional Cases, 125 New Deaths Reported Saturday

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Florida Department of Health reported another 7,280 new coronavirus cases on Saturday.

That brings the total to 1,863,707 since the first publicly announced infection in March of 2020.

There were another 125 additional deaths, bringing the total to 30,339.

The single-day positivity rate was 5.74% while the 14-day positivity rate was 6.52%.

MIAMI-DADE

In Miami-Dade, there were 1,544 newly reported cases of COVID-19 and 10 newly reported deaths.

The death toll is now 5,280.

The additional cases increased Miami-Dade County's overall total to 401,137.

The single-day positivity rate was 5.84%, while the 14-day positivity rate was 6.51%.

BROWARD

In Broward, there were 909 new cases and 14 additional deaths.

The death toll stands at 2,324.

Broward County's overall total increased to 189,125 cases.

The single-day positivity rate was 6.22% while the 14-day positivity rate was 6.85%.

MONROE

In Monroe, there were 18 new cases and no new additional deaths.

Monroe County's overall totals are 5,675 cases and 44 deaths.

The single-day positivity rate was 3.34% while the 14-day positivity rate was 4.46%.
