Construction To Close All Lanes Of I-75 For Two Nights

DAVIE (CBSMiami) - Overnight closures of all lanes of I-75 have been scheduled so construction crews can pour concrete for the new Sheridan Street bridge.

The bridge work is scheduled for Monday, August 3rd and Wednesday, August 12th.

On Monday all southbound lanes of I-75 will be closed to traffic at 11 p.m. and re-open at 6 a.m. on the following day.

During the lane closures, drivers heading south will have to exit ramp at Sheridan Street West (Exit 11B), head west to Dykes Road where they turn left and go to Pines Boulevard where they can head east to get back on I-75 southbound.

All lanes of I-75 northbound will be closed from 11 p.m. Wednesday, August 12th to 6 a.m. Thursday, August 13th.

Drivers will have to take the Sheridan Street East (Exit 11A) exit ramp, go to Flamingo Road, turn left and then go to Griffin Road where can turn left and get back on I-75.

The schedule closures may change due to rain or other unexpected conditions.
