College Students To De-Stress With Volunteer Dogs

DAVIE (CBSMiami) -- Broward College students are going to be de-stressing during finals week with the help of four-legged friends in Davie on Monday.

Broward College and the Florida Humane Society will team up on to host a "Pet De-stress" at  the A. Hugh Adams Central Campus, located at 3501 S.W. Davie Road.

Several volunteer dogs will be providing a bit of fun to stressed students, faculty, staff and anyone who wants to stop by.

Not only will they be helping to de-stress, they will also be looking for a loving home.

The dogs will be up for adoption to anyone looking for a furry friend.

The event starts at 11:00 a.m. and runs until 2:00 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
