Coast Guard Petty Officer To Face Court-Martial
MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) – A Coast Guard petty officer charged with sexually assaulting a Miami area resident will face General Court-Martial Tuesday.
Petty Officer Tyler Banks, 30, has been charged with two charges sexual assault stemming from an incident that happened in March of 2013 in Banks' Miami-area home.
The Coast Guard spent four months investigating Banks.
Banks is also accused of making official false statements.
