Christie Brinkley Flown To UM's Hospital For Treatment

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Supermodel Christie Brinkley was flown to the University of Miami Hospital for treatment after she was hurt while trying to rescue a bird while on vacation on a private island in the Turks and Caicos.
Brinkley posted several pictures on her Instagram account showing a swollen right eye and stitches.
"We interrupt this holiday to take a little unplanned excursion to Miami for cat scans and stitches following an accident trying to save a bird," she wrote.
She also thanked the doctors or her "A team" at the hospital. A while later she posted more pictures showing her back on the island.
