Chinese President Visits Fidel Castro In Cuba

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – New pictures have been released of former Cuban leader Fidel Castro's meeting with the Chinese President.

Castro met with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Havana this week.

President Jinping presented Castro with a bronze statue of a younger Castro.

The visit was aimed at continuing the traditional friendship between the two countries.

The meeting is ahead of Castro's 88th birthday on August 13th.
